Leisure Physical Activity: Meeting Recommendations

Variable Definition

Categorical variable for leisure physical activity (carried out solely for leisure time (recreation, sport, exercise or leisure activities)). A cutoff point of 150 minutes per week was used to classify adults as active versus inactive, in accordance with the recommendations from WHO 2018 definition of active as at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity throughout the week, or at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity physical activity throughout the week, or an equivalent combination of moderate- and vigorous-intensity activity.
