Global Physical Activity (Truncated)
Variable Definition
Continuous variable for global physical activity expressed as the number of minutes per week WITH truncation for implausible values. This is computed as the sum of minutes/week of walking (leisure or transport or undifferentiated) and moderate activity and twice the minutes/week of vigorous activity (leisure or work or undifferentiated). Twice the minutes of vigorous activity is used because WHO recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate and 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity or an equivalent combination of moderate and vigorous intensity activity.
