Variable Definition
The current pregnancy variable indicates whether or not an adult female respondent indicates that she is currently pregnant. The universe is all female adults ages 18-49. We limited the age range to 18-49 because almost all of the surveys with pregnancy history only ask the questions amongst females in this age range.
