Variable Definition
Total urban area (using both Global Urban Footprint (GUF) and Facebook population density maps) divided by the total area of the geographic unit, and multiplied by 100. Ranges from 0 to 100. Interpretation: Large value indicates a higher level of urbanization of the geographic unit.
