Leisure Physical Activity (Untruncated)

Variable Definition

Continuous variable for moderate and vigorous leisure physical activity (carried out solely for leisure time (recreation, sport, exercise or leisure activities) expressed as the number of minutes per week WITHOUT truncation for implausible values (per IPAQ scoring protocol guidelines). This is computed as the sum of minutes/week of walking and moderate physical activity for leisure and twice the minutes/week of vigorous activity for leisure. Twice the minutes of vigorous activity is used because WHO recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate and 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity or an equivalent combination of moderate and vigorous intensity activity.
