Variable Definition
Average number of servings of fruits and vegetables per day that an individual consumes in a typical week. This sums together variables SVYFRUSVDY1 and SVYVEGSVDY1. For surveys that have the Food Frequency Questionnaire (Mexico) and for surveys that ask about cooked versus raw vegetables as separate questions (Brazil, Colombia), the average number of servings of vegetables per day is calculated using each vegetables separately and the maximum is used for this version. This will be referred to as Version 1.
