Fruit Consumption Days Per Week V1

Variable Definition

Number of days per week that fruit is consumed. This will be referred to as Version 1 (V1). For Mexico ENSANUT surveys that have the Food Frequency Questionnaire, this variable is the number of days per week that the fruit of highest intake is consumed (this variable was created selecting the fruit of highest intake in each individual and using the answer “number of days per week” of this specific fruit as a proxy of individual fruit intake). In these cases, this variable can be interpreted as a proxy of the most frequent number of days of fruit consumption.
